On this page I will show the progress of my flight simulator cockpit V2 with some tips and hints and the newest entry on top.

December 2006 No further progress of the project due to other business tasks.
October 2005 Slowly starting up the contruction of a generic business jet cockpit. Here a first picture of the drawings:

September 2004 The project is newly started. A rough layout of the cockpit is done and tests started with several GoFlight modules.
March 2004 The project is stopped for the moment.
August 2003 The process goes really slowly forward. I the meantime Dassault has presented a new type of cockpit, which has four LCD screens in T shape, called EASy cockpit (for more information click here ).

Now comes the question should I build up the Lear or the EASy cockpit for the simulation. 4 LCD are easier to integrate compared to the "Gauges" from a Lear 45.

Spring of 2003 I started of thinking how to build up the cockpit after I found some valuable pictures on the Internet. From these pictures I made a first scale up and tried to read out some measurements (based on the only actual measure I have. It's the size of the CRT).
